NICOLE MADISON
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

Nicole Madison is the Associate Director at Centre of Gravity. She has been in management positions in the non-profit and charitable sector for over 10 years. With a Bachelor of Design from Ryerson University, Nicole's background includes design, administration, bookkeeping, and event management. She is a certified yoga teacher; dedicated to the practice of yoga for over 10 years and teaching yoga since 2005. Her certifications include Moksha Yoga, Mindfulness Yoga with Frank Jude Boccio, Restorative Yoga with Hali Schwartz and Trauma Sensitive Yoga with the Justice Resource Institute.

ELLA COOPER
PODCAST VOLUNTEER

In her daily life, Ella is dedicated to community building through the arts. She currently works as the Senior Coordinator of the Neighbourhood Arts Network and has a strong background in community outreach, arts marketing, strategic planning, events management, volunteer development and social media/web services. Ella is also a multidisciplinary artist, creative facilitator, media arts educator and certified yoga instructor. She has created a multitude of empowering community centred arts and yoga outreach programs for at risk youth, not for profits, community centres/assistance programs and local school districts in Toronto, Vancouver, Surrey, Williams Lake and Montreal. Ella is the recipient of many artist grants and awards, plus her work has been presented in galleries, subways, gardens and the streets of Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary as well as on the CBC.

CARMEN DUNJKO
GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Carmen Dunjko is an internationally recognized graphic designer with more than 400 awards to her credit. Since graduating from Toronto’s Sheridan College in 1973 and studying at the Zurich School of Art and Design, she has art directed magazines like Saturday Night and Shift, and has launched designs and redesigns for many others, including Maclean’s and enRoute. pod10.com

CELESTE KIRSH
BLOG CONTRIBUTOR

Celeste Kirsh is an explorer, questioner, lover, writer, trouble muffin, dreamer, and friend. She first met Michael Stone in 2006 at a Moksha Yoga teacher training and took another four years of practicing and investigating yoga to finally see herself at Centre of Gravity (and feel brave enough to embark on the challenges of this kind of practice). During the day, Celeste is usually teaching young people at school how to read, write, and be inspired by life. Working with young people (and their parents) in a mindful, compassionate, and engaged way is the best motivation for Celeste to practice daily on her yoga mat or cushion.
